The 2-star Pension MINU3 is a small pension at the main shopping street in Vienna (Mariahilferstrasse), just few steps from the underground station (U3, Neubaugasse). This affordable establishment is simple in the décor, and the furniture is a bit dated, but functional and the rooms are impeccably clean. There are singles, doubles, triples and quadruple rooms. Most of the rooms have beside the double or single beds a couch as well. There is a private bathroom, a table with chairs, a TV and a telephone in each room. There are a fridge, telephone, heating and fans in each room. The rooms overlook the street below. A hair dryer is available for guests as well.
The hotel also offers a restaurant with a bar which is also used as a breakfast room, which is included in the price of the room. This room can be used for private parties or small events as well. There are also TV lounges with sofas in the hallway in both floors. The hotel also offers 24-hour reception, a safety deposit box, wireless internet in public areas, a left-luggage office and children not requiring bed sleep for free.

camera semplice, ma confortevole, letti senza lenzuola, ma con piumoni caldi. colazione semplice ma abbondante. La pensione è comoda perchè vicinissima al centro alla via dei musei e alla via dello shopping.
Netter Unterkunft, Lage und Preis in Ordnung. Das Hotel ist etwas Renovierungsbedürftig: im Badezimmer war Duschschlauch kaputt; im Zimmer waren die Sitze Defekt (Holzverbindungen haben sich teilweise gelöst). Der Service ist aber freundlich, Frühstück war OK. Die Betten schliefen gut.
Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral, somit ist die Innenstadt mit ihren vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten per U-Bahn in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Das Frühstück ist einfach, aber in Ordnung. Es besteht aus Brötchen, Wurst, abgepackten Brotaufstrichen und Müsli sowie einigen Säften. Das Personal ist freundlich. Eine angenehme Wohnatmosphäre lässt das Zimmer allerdings nicht aufkommen. Es wird zwar gereinigt, aber es ist alt und sehr einfach eingerichtet. Ein Kühlschrank und TV stehen zur Verfügung. Eine grundlegende Renovierung ist wünschenswert, das Bad ist ebenfalls einfachst ausgestattet und mangelhaft: Der Toilettendeckel fehlt, wegen einer gebrochenen, funktions-untüchtigen Duschwand setzt man das Bad beim Duschen unter Wasser. Der Abluftventilator ist laut, dreckig und vergilbt. Die Kacheln erinnern an die sog. Industriekacheln der frühen 50ziger Jahre. Wir haben und wollten es nur mit Badeschuhen betreten und nichts ablegen!
The accomodation is in general in a bad condition. For me personally, this was okay and the accomodation is still recommendable, if you don't put emphasis on modern furniture, cleanliness, modern facilities, a luxury breakfast etc. If you are not too sensitive in this respect and just need a place to sleep, two really important plus points are: the price is at the lower end of Vienna Hotels, and the location is almost perfect, close to Underground station and Bus line, close to city center, close to main train station, etc. The personnel is friendly, if you are so, and some rooms are really big.
