Once known as the village of Ottakring it has, in recent years, been absorbed into the ever-growing metropolitan area to become one of the most well connected neighbourhoods to the city centre while still maintaining a provincial charm. This once tiny hamlet was founded in the XVI century to satisfy the housing needs of workers in the nearby vineyard. The vineyard by the way still exists and guided tours are offered of its' antique bodegas, many of which now operate as restaurants serving local cuisine. For those who seek an active nightlife, a metro stop on line U3 can be found only 5 minutes away.     Die Unterkunft liegt nicht sehr weit vom Zentrum entfernt. Mit der U-Bahn sehr gut und schnell zu erreichen. Die einzigen Mängel die uns aufgefallen sind, wären das Licht und das Duschwasser im Bad. Das Licht ist ein wenig zu dunkel. Am Spiegel ist gar keins. Und das Wasser aus der Dusche kommt manchmal einfach eiskalt aus der Leitung obwohl man auf warm gestellt hat. Ansonsten kann man die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.
