The 3 star Hotel Donauwalzer is a family run traditional Viennese hotel which is centrally located, within waking distance of the centre and all of its attractions. There is a metro station (Alserstrasse) just one minute from the hotel on foot and tram number 44 stops practically at the front door. There are single, double and triple rooms on offer as well as family rooms for 4 or 5 people and special double rooms, one with a water bed and another with a whirlpool and a king size bed. Cots are available on request and children not requiring a bed (up to 6 years old) may stay at the hotel for free. The rooms have all the amenities you expect from a hotel of this category (shower, toilet, TV, telephone, minibar, hair dryer, heating, writing paper), as it has been constantly renovated. The breakfast is a varied buffet and is included in the price.
The hotel itself was built as a wedding gift in 1901 and offers a small spa area, a safe, lift, wifi Internet access, laundry and ironing facilities, a left-luggage office, a 24 hour hotel bar and reception and parking spaces for cars and bikes (9€ charge). There is also a beautiful little courtyard where you can relax in the summer.

la distanza dal centro è di circa 3km anche se il tram 44 e la metro sono molto vicini
la posizione dell'hotel è non proprio centrale ma il tram (44) è proprio davanti all'hotel. la camera al terzo piano non era granchè mentre quella al 5 era ottima. Il personale è gentilissimo e il servizio taxi dall'aeroporto impeccabile.
Weil man ja nur zum schlafen im Hotel ist, ist es in Ordnung. Im Sommer würde ich nicht in dieses Hotel fahren weil man bestimmt bei offenem Fenstern schlafen möchte, dafür ist die Straße zu laut.
Das Hotel war im Verhältnis Preis Leistung optimal- Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen für diejenigen die ein preiswerte Unterkunft im Münchener Zentrum suchen. Die Angestellten sind zuvorkommend und immer freundlich.
Das Hotel Donauwalzer ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt um die Stadt Wien zu erkunden. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer Sauber und freundlich eingerichtet und im Hinterhof auch nicht laut.Auch das Frühstück war O.K. Die schlechten Bewertungen im Internet kann ich in keinster Weise bestätigen. Ich werde gerne wieder in das Hotel Donauwalzer fahren.
